** IMPORTANT INFORMATION ** - SAFETY FORUM AT GOODWOOD – SUNDAY 17th MAY
The Safety Forum is being held in the Goodwood Super Shell Building which is at the north-east corner of the Aerodrome. The doors will open at 8.30am and the presentations are due to start at 9.30am so please arrive in good time as we are expecting a large number of attendees. Please register with the desk as you enter the Super Shell building. All day refreshments and a sandwich lunch are being provided thanks to Nicholson McLaren Aviation (NMA). There will be a prize draw which will be awarded on completion of a feedback form on the day.
Please find important information below, particularly if you are hoping to fly in as, due to the number of attendees, we are having to assign landing slots on the day, and these must be pre-allocated by emailing info@ultimatehigh.co.uk (see details below). We appreciate that the date is some time away, but Goodwood ATS need to have a rough idea of numbers likely to fly in (we understand it is weather dependent but it is very important that you register to fly in). Without a pre-allocated landing slot, the airfield may not be able to accommodate you flying in (even if you PPR).
If you are flying in:
In order to help with arrival flow, we will need to assign you a 20 minute landing slot (starting at 8.00am as the Aerodrome will open early). We are therefore asking that you DO NOT PPR but instead please email info@ultimatehigh.co.uk with the following details:
1. Aircraft Registration
2. Aircraft Type
3. Departing From
4. Returning To
5. No. POB and their name(s)
Once you have sent over your details, we will allocate each aircraft one of four landing slots: 0800 – 0820, 0820 – 0840, 0840 – 0900 and 0900 – 0920 and will send over more details - arrival briefing, refuelling, paying landing fees, how to get to the Super Shell Building etc.
If you are driving:
The general postcode is PO18 0PH. Please do not rely solely on your satnav as this sometimes takes you to the wrong side of the airfield - the airfield & motor circuit entrance is on the EAST side off Claypit Lane. If you are driving, please come through the main entrance to Goodwood Aerodrome & Motor Circuit and turn immediately RIGHT (do not go through the tunnel). You will be directed to parking, and it is then a short walk north to the Super Shell Building.
Terms: Attendance at this event is conditional upon acceptance that you may appear incidentally in background images or footage. The event will be professionally filmed and photographed, and content may be used by Ultimate High and supporting partners, including Nicholson McLaren Aviation, Lightspeed Aviation, Lycoming Engines, across websites, social media and other promotional or educational channels. If you prefer not to be featured in close-up or identifiable shots, please let a member of the team know on arrival and we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate this.
